Warsaw: Beautiful, they did an amazing job reconstructing the old city. Ate lots of fresh raspberries…about 3 pounds worth…at about $.75/pound. Ate lots of good, cheap food, got birthday presents for my mom and sister (amber is really cheap there) and got a chance to hang out with Laura for the firs time in ages. It was really fun despite the “worst house guest ever.” We even got to hear live Chopin in the park and eat potato pancakes.
Prague: In the last 36 hours I have: napped, eaten out several times, tried Becherovka, frequented a shisha joint and got up at the crack of dawn to take pictures that weren’t filled with tourists. Tomorrow I think I’m doing an all day walking tour and taking a night train out to Budapest. Tonight: absinthe. I probably end up lighting it on fire…at any rate, I”m buying one and that’s it! Honest.
