Since I posted on Wednesday a fabulous thing has happened, the power came back on!!! After almost exactly 22 days of being without current, we have it once again. My refrigerator works again. My fan works again. My laptop/boredom prevention device works again. I am happy.
This is not to say that the power has been steady. There have been at least 20 “brown outs” since the power came back on at 6pm last night, lasting anywhere from 10 seconds to 30 minutes. Better than before, at least!
And now I’m off to dance about some more in tribute to the gods of electricity!
