Today I “interacted” with sharks.
Sunday is our only day off during training and as a group, we decided that we wanted to go see the whale sharks. It’s a plankton/krill eating shark that not much is known about and there is much excitement over. Apparently the city of Donsol in Sorsagon (Bicol) is a spot where the whale sharks (butanding) feed during a part of their migration. The spot has been protected by WWF and you can hire boats and equipment and they take you out to “interact.”
“Interact” means “swim with.”
Our group is the envy of other regions.
