It’s been five weeks since I moved to my new site and that time has been quite hectic. I have been away for almost 2 1/2 of those five weeks for trainings and medical appointments for Peace Corps. This past week at the school has been consumed with a national holiday, exams and intramurals/Foundation Day. Now things are gearing up for the regional fiesta, Penafrancia Festival. We missed Penafrancia last year due to a training, but this year I plan to go and see what all the fuss is about. I figure, things should settle down again sometime in late September.
