As you may or may not know, texting is VERY popular in the Philippines. It is not uncommon to see a wizened old lola or a small child, cell phone in hand, texting madly. Given that we don’t get free minutes or even cheap minutes, most of the volunteers have gotten into the habit of texting each other quite frequently.
Sometimes the texting is just to say hi, sometimes to relay valuable information and sometimes it’s just a way to vent frustration or share an amusing moment.
I’ve gotten into the habit of saving the particularly amusing texts that I get from my fellow volunteers, so let me introduce my txtlog…
