I arrived in London at 10:30 last night. Checked into my hostel, slept. Now I’m going to hit up a museum or two before heading out to Keith’s.

I was supposed to arrive yesterday morning and be in Dublin, but due to a pithy little rain storm my flight to Chicago got cancelled, I get sent to Dallas to stay the night and then fly to Chicago in the morning (even though I could have gone home and made a similar flight in the morning, or flown that night and stayed in Chicago, or even flown to NYC and gone from there to London). Anyway, that sucked. I missed my flight to Dublin, it costs waaay too much to change my flight last minute and miss a day. I called customer service at American Airlines and managed to get myself a $500 international travel voucher- that I will use to go to Dublin later.

So, now I’m in London. Out $100, but $500 travel richer. Going to Manchester a day early, going dancing in Sheffield tonight, and I get an extra day in Edinburgh. So, overall, not too bad.
